If your business is involved in the Automotive supply chain in any way, and you are located in one of our current member countries, you must contact the appropriate ODETTE National Organisation.

If you are located outside of our current member countries, we may be able to set up a special interest group. Please contact info@odette.org for further details.

If you are an IT or Service Provider and are not already a member of a National Organisation, it may be possible for you to become a direct Associate Member of ODETTE International and receive the associated benefits. For more information on direct membership, email info@odette.org

I need to implement a recommendation. What are the conditions?
The ODETTE Standards and Recommendations are protected by copyright. To implement an ODETTE Standard, you must possess an official copy of the appropriate documentation in order not to be in breach of copyright laws. To obtain documentation, please contact your National Organisation.
If you are located outside one of the member countries, you may purchase the documentation.

Does ODETTE develop software?

What is the ODETTE Conference and Exhibition? Why should I participate?
ODETTE International organises an annual event dedicated to bringing together, in a single forum, hundreds of Automotive Industry executives to discuss the latest B2B strategies and trends in Communications, Logistics management and Engineering product data exchange. Every year, more than 500 industry participants benefit from this unique networking opportunity. Have a look at our Events section for the latest information.

Why is the organisation called ODETTE?
ODETTE originally stood for 'Organisation for Data Exchange by Tele-Transmission in Europe'. This acronym was created to reflect the original purpose for which ODETTE was created in 1984. However, ODETTE is a dynamic organisation and has constantly evolved to meet the changing needs of its members for supply chain standardisation and the current scope no longer corresponds to the acronym.

My customer has asked me to implement an ODETTE standard. Where do I start?
Your first port of call should be your National Organisation who will be best able to assist you. If you are outside one of our National Organisations, please email info@odette.org for advice.

I need an ODETTE Identification (ID). How can I obtain it?
Odette International can provide you with the IDs necessary to implement the standards. Get further information on ID Codes.

I need supporting documentation for an ODETTE standard. How do I get it?
If you are based in a country covered by one of our National Organisations, you must contact that organisation. Otherwise, please contact the ODETTE International Central Office.

I want to participate in a European Project. What are the conditions?
To participate, influence the development work, network with colleagues in other companies who have similar interests and be kept up-to-date with the latest information, you must be a member of an ODETTE National Organisation.
Direct membership is also possible for IT or service providers who are not already a member of a National Organisation.
