There are two permanent Committees, which are responsible
for managing the work within Odette. Their duties are to:
- identify and agree suitable projects according
to the Odette Project Management Procedure;
- formally approve their initiation and manage their
progress to completion;
- be responsible for approving the resulting standards
and recommendations;
- market the results and encourage the usage of
standards and recommendations;
- be responsible for ensuring standards and recommendations
are kept up to date or remain valid;
- be responsible for developing its annual budget
requirements for presentation to the Board;
- act as forum for sharing of information and experience
between members.
- encourage the building up of skills of its members;
- propose their scope of activities and responsibilities
to the Board for approval;
- co-operate with global organisations (AIAG, JAMA,
JAPIA etc) to encourage joint participation and avoid duplication
of work;
- maintain a close working relation with the other
Permanent Committee and Project Groups within Odette.
