In September 2016, Odette published a new version of its European Profile of the Global Transport Label – GTL EPv2 (LL08). The review provided the opportunity to modernise the label through the use of new bar coding technologies but the over-riding objective was to reduce the variety in current implementations of the original GTL in the European automotive industry.

It is with a certain sadness that we say goodbye to Ingrid Lundberg, who has retired from her role as MD of Odette Sweden but we are delighted to welcome Michael Bogren as her replacement.  Michael joins Odette from Encode the well-known IT service provider in Sweden.

Ingrid has a long history with Odette, stretching back to 1987 when the Odette Transport Label was first introduced. She has represented the Volvo Group both within Odette Sweden and within Odette International in various roles.

MMOG/LE Version 5 is now available and customers will be announcing their v4 to v5 migration plans over the coming months to give suppliers sufficient time to ensure that their SCM operations can meet the new standard but Version 5 will quickly become the norm for self-assessment of automotive supplier sites across the world.
