New Governance at Odette International
With the retirement of John Canvin from his position as MD of Odette International, the six National Organisation shareholders of Odette (AIA, ANFAC, GALIA, Odette Sweden, SMMT and VDA) have decided to change the previous governance model so that they can become more closely involved in the day to day management of Odette activities.
To facilitate this decision, they have
formed the Odette Bureau to be responsible for realising the strategic
directions decided by the Odette Board and for taking all operational decisions
on behalf of Odette International. The members of the Odette Bureau are the
directors of the six National Organisations supported by the Odette Central
Office staff. Your own National Organisation director, or the usual Central
Office staff member, therefore remains as your first point of contact for all
matters related to Odette activities.
The Odette Board has nominated Ingrid Lundberg (MD of Odette Sweden) as External Relations Director. In this role, Ingrid will be responsible for all contacts and relationships arising from outside the Odette community but is available to answer any questions from within our community as well. Ingrid can be contacted on firstname.lastname@example.org. We expect this new structure to respond effectively to the demands arising from the European automotive supply chain.
