Global MMOG Project Team members from North America and Europe have worked hard, under the leadership of Christian Aigner (Ford) and Patrick Reilhac (GALIA), to bring many enhancements to the tool, with 6 main axes of development:
- Digital transformation
- Capacity planning
- ESG responsibility
- Crisis management
- Cybersecurity
- Cascade of SCM assessment with sub-suppliers and new entrants
After undergoing a rigorous stakeholder review, the English language edition of the Version 6 catalogue is now available (in Full and Basic profiles) and the complete suite of 10 other languages will follow in April.

Automotive customers will be announcing their plans to migrate to MMOG/LE Version 6 over the coming weeks but suppliers can already acquire their v6 licence, make themselves familiar with the changes between the v5 and v6 catalogues and take the necessary action to ensure that their processes are up-to-date in time to meet the submission deadline and achieve the required rating.
The one-off purchase of a v6 licence allows the use of catalogues v6, v5 and v4 for the lifetime of these catalogues.
Attention Tier suppliers!
Automotive OEMs want to improve visibility over their whole supply chain and a key aspect of MMOG/LE v6 is the reinforcement of the requirement for Tier 1 suppliers to cascade the MMOG/LE assessment process towards their own suppliers and so on through the tiers.
