Across the automotive industry, logistics sector, energy providers and
public authorities, many organisations rely on OFTP2 for the secure transfer of
business-critical information between trusted business partners.
The Odette File Transfer Protocol (OFTP2) continues to evolve to meet increasing cybersecurity requirements while maintaining the interoperability and operational stability required by global automotive supply chains.
Managing OFTP2 partner master data often involves a manual exchange of technical information, creating additional effort when establishing or updating connections between trading partners. To simplify this process, Odette provides a practical tool, the PDX XML Generator.
We are delighted to announce that Beijing Sinowintop has successfully completed Odette OFTP2 Testing, joining the global network of tested solutions which enable secure and seamless exchange of confidential data between automotive partners around the world.
The OFTP2 functionality – Partner Details Exchange via XML (PDX XML) – has been developed to simplify the management of partner master data. The feature has already been implemented in several OFTP2 solutions and is currently being deployed in the OFTP2 user community but in the meantime, Odette has developed the PDX XML Generator to help those whose OFTP2 solution does not yet support the feature or those who have not yet upgraded to the latest version.
As we approach the end of another amazing year, with a jam-packed 2024 programme ahead of us, it is fitting to reflect on 2023 and wrap-up in style. What better way to do this than recognising all those who have made our excellent results possible.
Odette has appointed CEDEX, provider of e-Autohub, the largest Chinese automotive network, as a Registration Authority (RA) in China for the Odette Certification Authority (CA).
